CHILDREN’S HEALTH
Supporting your child’s health
If your child is dealing with recurring infections, skin flare-ups, behavioural challenges or allergies, it can feel like you’re constantly managing symptoms instead of getting answers.
We help you connect the dots behind the symptoms to create a clear path forward for your family.

When you feel like you’ve exhausted every option
“We work with parents whose children have been cycling through antibiotics, steroids or repeated treatments for years - or who have received a diagnosis without a clear understanding of what’s driving it.
It can feel frustrating and exhausting. A diagnosis doesn’t always explain why your child keeps getting ill, why their gut hasn’t settled, or why focus, mood or behaviour feel hard to regulate.
Often, there are underlying patterns that haven’t yet been properly explored.”
- Flora Budenberg, Peach Founder

“We have seen such clear improvements. She is eating well, sleeping well and looking well. The anxiety and OCD have eased, and she has been able to go back to school which is fantastic.”
- Jim, Father of Lyra (12)
A more complete picture of your child’s health
Where needed, we use targeted functional testing to build a clearer picture of what might be driving your child's symptoms.
This type of testing uncovers patterns and imbalances - from nutrient levels to gut health and stress response - that can often be missed by traditional tests. Any testing we recommend is highly personalised, kept to only what's necessary, and guided by your practitioner throughout.
We work directly with partner labs, so we’re also able to offer many tests at preferential rates for Peach clients.
○ Inflammatory & immune markers
○ Key nutrient levels incl. copper
○ Stress hormones
○ Pyrrole levels
○ Gut microbiome & pathogen activity
Walsh Nutrient Therapy can be particularly helpful for children experiencing challenges with mood, focus or behaviour. It identifies specific nutrient imbalances that affect brain chemistry, so we can start correcting them with targeted nutrition plans.
Our team are Walsh-trained practitioners with extensive experience working with children. We’re well-acquainted with taste/texture sensitive children, and are here to support you in a way that feels manageable for both you and your child.
More to your child’s symptoms than a label
Diagnoses like eczema, ADHD or recurrent infections can be an important starting point, but they don’t always explain what’s happening underneath.
For example, around 70% of the immune system is based in the gut, which can explain why skin issues, allergies and frequent illness often have deeper roots.
The good news is that children tend to respond quickly when those underlying imbalances are addressed, so changes can happen faster than many parents expect.
We help you understand what’s driving your child’s symptoms and make simple, realistic changes that fit with your family's life.

Your top questions, answered
-
Yes - and it starts with understanding what's driving them. The brain relies on a constant supply of nutrients to produce neurotransmitters like dopamine and serotonin. When those building blocks are depleted or poorly absorbed, it can show up as difficulty concentrating, emotional dysregulation, hyperactivity or persistent low mood. Rather than simply managing the label, we investigate the underlying biochemistry - things like nutrient deficiencies, gut health, stress hormones and genetic factors - to understand what's actually going on, and address it at the root.
-
We typically work with children from age 2 upwards. We're particularly experienced in supporting children who had a difficult start - recurrent infections or heavy antibiotic use in early life - where the immune system or gut microbiome may not have had the chance to develop fully. The earlier we can investigate and address those foundations, the better: children tend to respond quickly to nutritional support because imbalances haven't had as long to become entrenched.
-
Absolutely. Our team is experienced in working with children who have strong food preferences and sensory sensitivities around eating, and we know how stressful mealtimes can be for the whole family. We'll never prescribe a restrictive or complicated dietary overhaul. Instead, we work with your child's reality - building a realistic, manageable plan that fits your family life, not one that makes it harder.
-
We work alongside conventional care, not instead of it. Many of the children we support are on medication, and our role is complementary: investigating what's happening at a physiological level and addressing underlying imbalances. Over time, some families do find that their child is able to reduce their reliance on certain medications, but this is always a gradual process and something that happens in consultation with their doctor.
